Lib Dems are celebrating after an excellent by-election result in Hutton ward last week. The result:
Conservative 879
Lib Dem (Graeme Kidd) 536
Labour 368
UKIP 116
Independent 56
Our excellent local candidate Graeme Kidd knocked Labour into third place and brought the Tories down 600 votes compared to last May.
UKIP and Independents made no impact.
Lib Dem Group Leader Josh Mason said:
“The Lib Dems are clearly on the up in Redcar & Cleveland Borough”.
