Councillor Laura Wright has been in discussion with the council about doing up the rose gardens out of public realm money.
The designs so far have been about putting coloured tarmac down in flower patterns with barely any flowers.
Laura says:
“I have been fighting for more flowers and plants and pushing for actual roses. If this can’t be done, then wild flowers.”
The Labour Council has refused all of this but Laura isn’t giving up!
